Faux Linen

This week at Hiding in My Craft Room we are doing a technique that is called Faux Linen.

From my research I have found 2 different ways to do this, I have chosen to do the tissue paper method.

I have use a script stamp for the faux linen and then a Kaszazz two step stamp for the butterfly

The sentiment is from Close to my heart, it is one that comes with the Art Philosophy bundle

Zig Zag Scraps

Choose your colours

This week at Hiding in My Craft Room it is colour challenge time. This month it comes with a twist, You choose the colours!! 

I have chosen Purple, Yellow & Green. Now I know it does not seem the most likely of partners but I was amazed with the finished product

The papers are from the Kaisercraft paper pad Lilac Avenue

I have coloured her using Spectrum Noir markers

Banners!!!!

Welcome to this weeks challenge at Hiding in my Craft Room and this week we have everyone's favourite BANNERS!!!!! 

The one thing I love about banners is that they use up your scraps and are super easy to make!!

Happy Day

Welcome to Super Scraps Saturday at Hiding in My Craft Room

Today I have made this card, with scrap paper and a few punches

The birthday hats are punches out of the Stampin'Up banner punch, I them punched the circles for the background and stamped the star for the top of the hats, I free hand cut the banner.

 I free hand cut the banner, and used a Kaisercraft rub on for the sentiment. The background was embossed with the spots and dots  Cuttlebug embossing folder

In the Pink

It is my day to share a project at Getting Cricky today, so it must be Friday!!! Really looking forward to this weekend!!

This is how happy I am!! Isn't she so happy!!! She is a Digital stamp called Happy Tia from Some Odd Girl 

I have used the Cricut Cartridge Elegant Edges for the background, and coloured using my Spectrum Noir pens  

I have used the K Andrew Designs Positive Thoughts stamp set for this card, this is no longer available but there is still some great stamp sets available HERE
